Meet the Candidate
As a CPA, former teacher, volunteer, and a concerned citizen of Iredell County, I care about all the people who live here and want to represent them in the best way that I can. I will direct my energies on making sure our tax money is spent wisely; that our children are safe; that our land and resources are managed in a smart way to balance the growth and land use of our communities; that decisions are made responsibly; and that we continue to move our County forward. My mission is to promote and make available for all our citizens sufficient transportation, affordable housing, water, and a great education. As a CPA I will bring expertise to the table to provide sound fiscal responsibility as each of our citizens deserves the absolute best accountability over your tax dollars and a good steward of the budget. The growth in our county mandates we must strategically plan for smart growth and keeping our local economy strong. Our tourism business in Iredell County is experiencing phenomenal growth and we must assure that this growth will continue and even become stronger. I will work to bring great jobs to our community so that our citizens can experience the lowest taxes possible. I will fight for you to have the best safety and law enforcement needs and school facilities that every citizen deserves. As a former teacher I will fight for the best school system and education possible.

is time to fulfill these expectations. As a CPA I have had the opportunities
to be the auditor for many government municipalities, therefore, have been
in the position to understand how government and bureaucracy works and to
know how to fix many parts of the system that is broken. You deserve the
leader who will meet our communities’ challenges and brings to the table
these assets that can bring forth better solutions and a common sense
approach for meeting these challenges.
